Oven Roasted Tomatoes - so easy breezy!

This is a great recipe for a base to a tomato sauce or for a great healthy side. I also like to do this if I have any tomatoes that need to be used up before they go bad, as the roasted will last another week easily in the fridge.

Ingredients:
Tomatoes
Olive Oil
Oregano
Garlic Powder
Salt/Pepper

I happened to have grape tomatoes on hand but you can use any from the large (sliced) to the little cherry tomatoes. I use my kitchen shears they are great for tons of kitchen chores.

I used my kitchen shears to cut them but a regular knife is fine too.

Line the cookie sheet with foil, sprinkle on olive oil and seasonings to taste.

In a pre-heated oven of 350 degrees roast for 25-30 minutes.

They come out yummy and sweet.

Great for pasta sauces or as a side for any meat dish esp steaks or roasts. Toss with some grilled asparagus is amazing too for a bbq.
